Formed in 1894, The Royal District Nursing Service (SA) Inc – RDNS – is a not for profit, non government home and community health and care service. Particular features of RDNS include:

Community based support for health and community care
Provides flexible health and care service (eg: assessment, client care co-ordination and case management, direct service delivery by nurses, allied health and support workers)
Accommodates client and carer lifestyle choices promoting independence
The largest independent provider of health and care services in South Australia
Increasingly strong emerging partnership with the acute sector to facilitate co-ordinated community care to reduce hospital bed days
