About Fundraising

Fundraising has always been an essential part of RDNS. When originally founded in 1894 each Adelaide suburb and town raised the money to pay for the local nurses. Without funding we just would not be able to provide the level of community health and care service that we do. The RDNS Foundation was established to support all fundraising and sponsorship activities within the RDNS.

Every bit of Your support helps us care for those in your local community who are in need including:

• People discharged from hospital needing nursing care at home
• Our elderly who wish to stay at home rather than go to a nursing home but need nursing support
• Disabled children needing nursing treatment at home or at school to help them grow to their full potential
• Terminally ill people who wish to spend their last days at home in familiar surroundings

With your help the RDNS can ensure that our health and care services will be there for you and your family, when, where and how you need them.
