Quality Systems
The Royal District Nursing Service, SA Inc. is committed to ensuring quality service, quality management and practice improvement principles are built in to all strategic planning, operational, clinical and non-clinical activities.
RDNS has a coordinated, organisation wide approach to Quality with Quality and Clinical Governance the framework by which we pursue quality, safety and excellence in our everyday practice. It includes all nursing care, infection control, incident management, occupational health and safety and education and training for our staff.
Our Clinical Governance framework links to our ambition, our values and our promise with the client the focus of all service delivery.
Infection Control in Home and Community Care Settings
Working in the home care and community care setting can be a challenge as our RDNS health care workers have to adapt the principles of infection control to many varied environments. In order to control and prevent healthcare acquired infections for both our clients and our staff, the RDNS Infection Control Consultant is there to help by providing clients, carers and health care workers with advice, education and support.
